I got the Covergirl Bombshell Volume mascara in Very Black when soap.com was having a 30% off sale on Covergirl products. Now, because I ordered this and hadn't seen it in person yet, I had no idea how absolutely HUGE it is! Have a look:

Covergirl Eye Rehab 2-in1 Brightening Concealer + Olay Hydrating Serum
I've heard/seen a lot of reviews where people have complained about this product but I actually really like it! It seems like they repackaged the 2-in-1 Foundation into a smaller tube and called it a CC Cream concealer for your under eyes lol. It has the same smell as the foundation which is really nice (I guess that comes from the Olay!) But I find that the foundation isn't good for my oily skin, while this concealer works well for me.
It is a very thin consistency - not something you usually want in a concealer - but it covers a lot more than you think it would. I got the lightest shade they had (Fair) and it brightens pretty well, though I would like it to be a shade or two lighter. It blends nicely and you really can't see it on the skin, which is a huge plus - no under eye cakeyness!!
It has a little pump which I like, but you have to be careful not to dispense too much.
Also, it is pretty hydrating without making my oily skin shiny in the areas where I apply it. I made sure to use it for a couple days without wearing foundation or anything so that I could put it to the test! I have been wanting to try the Benefit Fake-Up concealer but the hydrating part kind of threw me off because I don't want to spend that much if it is going to look greasy under my eyes, but this one gave me hope that I can use it and it won't react badly with oily skin.
Here is a shot of the product on the back of my hand, you can't really tell the consistency of it but it is quite thin once you start applying it. I really thought it was going to be a wash and not work at all because it was so thin, but I was pleasantly surprised. This is definitely worth checking out!

Let's talk about the bronzer first - this one is called Spices and it's nice and matte, which I liked when I saw it. The Clean Glow blushes and bronzer have 3 different shades in them which you can blend together to create one shade.
I would really like these if they SHOWED UP. I put so much product on my brush and just barely got it to show on my face. But that's saying something because the blush doesn't show up no matter what you do (more on that later!)
These are the 3 shades with no flash
And here they are with flash - you can see the darkest one the best.
And then here is all 3 shades swirled together on my finger, in my attempt to try and get it to show up better! Like I said, I would really like this if it showed up on me - the product itself is very silky and feels nice. It's just a fail pigmentation-wise. I feel like they could have done a much better job with these and they would have been amazing!
Now the blush - it's called Roses. I actually bought the Peaches one too, but didn't even open it after seeing how terrible these performed.
Again, nice and matte except for the lightest highlighter shade which is slightly shimmery.
Even heavily swatching them I couldn't get the shades to show up much...
And here are the 3 shades blended together with my finger. Again, it would be a really nice product if I could get it to show up on me! Such a letdown, Covergirl! These are around $8.99 and definitely not worth it. This is something from the new products to steer clear of for sure :)
I mention these here:
Covergirl Smoochies Lip Balm in #smooch
I've gotta say, the new Covergirl products have been hit or miss for me. This one is an in-betweener. These are supposedly comparable to the old Lipslicks that Covergirl had, though I don't recall ever owning any of those so I can't rightfully compare the two. But emilynoel83 had a video on these where she said a few of them were the same exact shades as the old Lipslicks, so maybe they're just remarketing them? They all have hashtags before their names, and this one is called "#smooch." It's a nudish pink with a little bit of shimmer to it.
I like that they are cherry scented - I am a huge cherry lover, so anything scented/flavored/etc. I am all for it. So the scent is quite pleasant. I don't like that it's got a rather dry texture - doesn't feel amazing on the lips. It's just pretty average so it's not a huge "wow" product for me. Here's some swatches with and without flash:
It doesn't do much for my lips, doesn't last long, not great. It's just "eh." If you've been looking at the new Covergirl stuff, I would say the Flamed Out line is more worth looking at than anything else!

Covergirl Clean Whipped Creme Foundation
If you guys remember Covergirl TruBlend Whipped foundation, this stuff is very similar. That was one of the first foundations I ever tried! I got the color 320 (Creamy Natural) because depending on the time of year I'm either Creamy Natural or Buff Beige in Covergirl products.
I would call this a mousse consistency just because it feels a lot like the Maybelline Dream Mousse - it's creamy but as soon as you apply it, feels powdery. I am not impressed with this stuff - it applies very patchy. I get the best application using the Beauty Blender, but even with that it is extremely light coverage and trying to build it just makes you look cakey.
Another downside is that it doesn't hold up well on my oily skin. A few hours into it and I get that gross "my makeup is dripping" feeling lol.
It looks like it's a thick consistency, but it feels very light on your face. That's about the only upside, for me, to this foundation. It was a pretty big letdown but then again it takes a lot for me to like a foundation so I could just be being picky. Have any of you guys tried it yet? let me know what you think!

The Flamed Out Shadow pencils are probably my favorite products from the new "Flamed Out" line. These remind me a lot of the Cool Effects pencils that Covergirl had years ago. When you put them on your lid, they give a cooling effect (which is weird for a products called "Flamed Out" lol.
I purchased these in the colors Muted Caramel Flame (a shimmery taupe), Gold Flame (a light yellow gold shimmer), and Ashen Glow Flame (a khaki green with hints of gold shimmer).
As you can see I already had an "oopsie" with the gold one - these are very soft and I accidentally nicked it on the cap. That being said, because they are so soft they make great shadow bases (and pair well with the colors from the Flamed Out Shadow Pots). BUT they don't blend very easily. They pretty much go where you put them, and that's it. I love using the Muted Caramel Flame one as a base for the shimmery brown shadow pot!
I hate that the names are not on the pencil itself - they were only on the plastic packaging, which has since been thrown away. At least they HAD names, unlike the shadow pots which only have a number on them.
As you can see, they are pretty pigmented. The first picture is with flash, the second is without. From left to right is Gold Flame, Melted Caramel Flame, and Ashen Glow Flame. The Caramel one is the most pigmented out of the 3, and my favorite. They last all day and I don't see any creasing as long as I use primer (of course!) With my oily lids, I would never dare wear an eye look of any sort without using my UDPP first lol.
These are definitely worth trying out, especially if you're looking for some new shadow bases!

Covergirl Ink It! Eye Pencils
The Covergirl Ink It! liners confused me. I thought when I opened them they would be pen/liquid type liners but they're not - they're the twist up, soft-crayon kind. They are soft and smooth, but almost to a fault because the black one has crumbled on me twice so far while applying it.
They have a clear plastic protector around the product where it comes out through the tube - this is probably to help stabilize it so it doesn't break as easily. I picked these up in 2 colors - Black Ink and Silver Ink. The black is a matte black (very dark!) and the silver is a metallic silver. Here's a few swatches - the first is with flash, the second without:
These are not smudge-able liners - they pretty much set right away and have excellent staying power. The black literally lasts all day on my waterline and there are pretty much no other liners that do that for me except for the L'oreal Lacquer Liner gel liner. So that is a huge A+ for this product. On the downside though, the black is hard to remove - takes some scrubbing with a makeup wipe to get it all off. The silver isn't as difficult to take off, maybe because it's metallic/a different finish? The display had a gorgeous teal color on the model, but there wasn't even a spot for it so I am determined to find it.
At any rate, these have amazing pigmentation and staying power and are perfect liners for the water line.

Covergirl Flamed Out Mascara
The new Covergirl Flamed Out Mascara - probably one of the coolest mascara tubes as of late!
The wand on this one is its downfall. While the mascara itself is a pretty good product, the wand is just impossible to work with. It's very thick and has a dip in the middle which makes it hard to get all your lashes, and because the tip of it is so thick and round, it's impossibly to get the tiny inner corner lashes. And forget about trying to use this mascara and your bottom lashes - the wand is way too bulky for that!
So lets get a shot of my eye with no mascara and then my eye with the mascara on:
It looks decent, but I've found I need to use another mascara with a thinner wand with it if I want to coat all my lashes. It doesn't do much lengthening wise, but does provide a bit of thickening/volume. So it's got that going for it. But they really need to rethink that wand design because this is one I won't be reaching for all that much - too much hassle!

Covergirl Flamed Out Eyeshadow Pots
The drugstore brands have really been stepping up their game lately. L'oreal has me indatuated with the Infallible shadows, and Maybelline has the Color Tattoo Shadows. I love both of those products dearly. So I was excited to see the new stuff Covergirl came out with. The first product I'll be reviewing are the new Flamed Out Eyeshadow Pots. I am a little disappointed because their displays show these awesome bright colors on Pink, and they're never in the displays I see. I know for a fact there is supposed to be a red and a lime green shadow because I've seen other bloggers review them, but I couldn't find those so I picked up the brown, black, and purple ones. The same thing happened to me with the Ink It! liners which I will review in a separate post - the display showed a gorgeous turquoise color but it was nowhere to be found - there wasn't even a spot for it because the display was full! I guess it just depends on the store/region maybe?

Without flash.
These colors don't have names, which is a bit annoying. They just have numbers on the back - 355 if a shimmery brown, 300 is a black with silver shimmer and 340 is a shimmery light purple.

Without flash.
The colors surprised me pigmentation-wise. They are far better than the regular Covergirl shadows. They aren't incredibly smooth, but they are pretty easy to blend. I saw a few people comparing them to the L'Oreal Infallible shadows, which isn't a decent comparison. These are just dry, pressed shadows - nothing like the semi-pressed consistency of the Infallibles. I think the brown shade is my favorite of the three - it's just a shimmery, rich brown that is super pigmented in one swipe. I got the black mainly for testing purposes - you can always tell the quality by how pigmented a black is, and I was surprised that it didn't come out gray and chalky (most drugstore blacks end up that way!) And the purple was probably the big shocker, since so many drugstore purples I have tried fall short of other shadows in their respective makeup lines because they all seem to be poorly pigmented. Even the Maybelline Color Tattoos, which I LOVE, have a sucky purple. So it was nice to see that this one applies true to the color in the pot.
All in all, I'd say these are worth trying out one or two if you're curious, but they're nothing special and definitely not an OMG I NEED IT product!

Covergirl Outlast Stay Fabulous 3-in-1 Foundation
I will come right out and say this is the best drugstore foundation I have ever used. Not only does it claim to be a primer, concealer and foundation in 1 (which actually rings true!) but it also has SPF 20 in it.
I usually have issues finding a good match for my skintone, and finding a foundation that works well for my oily skin. A lot of them seem to start off nice, but then I quickly realize that they are not going to work for me when I wear them all day, because they feel like they just start to melt off no matter what primer/powder combo I use with them. This one does not do that - in fact, I can get all day wear out of it without even using a primer or setting powder, because it is such a matte foundation.
It has a pump, which is very convenient but can get a little messy. No big deal - I definitely prefer pump tops over the kind you have to just pour out - you have more control over how much product comes out this way.
The formula is on the thicker side, and gives you full coverage without using a lot of product.
Here it is blended in - it blends flawlessly and as you can see, matches me perfectly. (The color I have is #820 Creamy Natural).
The Covergirl Stay Fabulous Foundation is an excellent alternative to expensive high-end matte foundations. Dare I say, this is even in the running with the Kat Von D foundation as my favorite! It is still pricey for a drugstore foundation (around $13.99) but then again, all the drugstore ones seem to be getting up there in price these days. I say it is definitely worth it and everyone should check it out if you're interested!

Covergirl has come out with some chubby lip pencils called Jumbo Gloss Balms. The packaging is very similar to the Revlon Just Bitten Balm Stains, and they twist up the same way:
I'm pretty sure they had color names on the plastic wrapping, but only numbers are on the bottom of the tube. So this one is #205, it's a peach color with a golden sheen. My favorite out of the 3 that I have.
This one is #220, a sheer bright pink
And this is #215, a sheer reddish pink
These balms have no scent, which is good for those who are sensitive to lip product smells. I'm sure everyone will compare them to the Revlon ones, but these are much more sheer than the Revlon ones. They are very long lasting with a good amount of gloss to them, but the Revlon ones still last longer. I find them to be a little drying on the lips as well, but nothing too bad. All in all they're a pretty decent product especially for those of you who just like a touch of color on your lips.
