Covergirl Smoochies Lip Balm in #smooch

I've gotta say, the new Covergirl products have been hit or miss for me. This one is an in-betweener. These are supposedly comparable to the old Lipslicks that Covergirl had, though I don't recall ever owning any of those so I can't rightfully compare the two. But emilynoel83 had a video on these where she said a few of them were the same exact shades as the old Lipslicks, so maybe they're just remarketing them? They all have hashtags before their names, and this one is called "#smooch." It's a nudish pink with a little bit of shimmer to it.

 

I like that they are cherry scented - I am a huge cherry lover, so anything scented/flavored/etc. I am all for it. So the scent is quite pleasant. I don't like that it's got a rather dry texture - doesn't feel amazing on the lips. It's just pretty average so it's not a huge "wow" product for me. Here's some swatches with and without flash:

It doesn't do much for my lips, doesn't last long, not great. It's just "eh." If you've been looking at the new Covergirl stuff, I would say the Flamed Out line is more worth looking at than anything else!
