MyChelle Hyaluronic Acid Beauty Products!

No comments :
I have a super exciting post for you guys today, introducing some new products from MyChelle! I have reviewed some of their skin care items before, so I was looking forward to checking these out and testing them! These items are from their new Hyaluronic line.

First up is the Ultra Hyaluronic Water Mask.

This mask contains moisture enriched hyaluronic acid, blue agave, and prickly pear cactus to smooth and condition dull and dehydrated skin. It can also be used as an overnight deep moisture mask.
The formula is really nice - it has a light, earthy scent to it. It's got a nice not too thick/not too thin consistency that spreads easily when you apply it to your face. It also gives a cool, relaxing feeling. I really enjoy that you don't need a TON of it to coat your whole face. You can rinse it off after 5-10 minutes, or you can massage it into your skin and use it as an overnight mask. My skin absolutely glows when I use this!!

The Bio-Firm Hydrogel Concentrate is another awesome product.

This has a gel consistency and is unscented. Again, a little goes a long way! I have the .45 oz jar but it also comes in a 1.2 oz. jar. It is described as concentrated 2% hyaluronic acid moisture-binding gel with a potent dose of AlpineNunatak™ plant stem cells and Crocus Chrysanthus Bulb Extract that helps firm and provide deep nourishment and hydration.

I have been using this after washing my face and notice that it helps to smooth my skin a lot - it also feels a bit firmer. It can have a slightly tacky feel to it, but it absorbs into the skin rather quickly!

The Ultra Hyaluronic Beauty Mist is an instantly refreshing and moisturizing mist made with Cactus Water and Hyaluronic Acid for lasting hydration, and Citystem™ Plant Stem Cells and Niacinamide to help revive and refine complexion.

This comes out in a nice fine mist, which I really appreciate in a facial spray. It doesn't have much of a scent to it, so it's perfect for anyone sensitive to scented facial mists. What's awesome about it is that you can use it either under makeup to hydrate before you apply, or over makeup, so you can spray it throughout the day to keep moisturized and hydrated. I like to keep mine in the refrigerator (it has been so hot and humid in Massachusetts, I'm ready for fall!) and spray my face for a nice cool, refreshing blast of hydration.

Last but not least we have the Ultra Hyaluronic Hydrating Cream.

It's enriched with Hyaluronic Acid and Squalene to deliver skin quenching hydration combined with a nourishing botanical blend of Resistem™ Plant Stem Cells, Blue Lotus, Rose Petals, and Freshwater Algae.

This one I was a bit nervous about, because I have pretty oily skin and this is a very thick, nourishing cream, so I was worried it might not work as well for me. As with the other products, a little goes a long way! I have not had any issues with it, and it's been keeping my skin super hydrated without making it oily. It actually sinks right into the skin and doesn't feel heavy at all, so it caught me off guard when I first used it! It has such a luxurious, smooth, creamy feel to it and just melts right into the skin. It also makes my skin feel incredibly soft!

I love the pump on the packaging, because it's super easy to control how much comes out. With a product like this where a little goes a long way, that is very important. It also has a super clean, fresh scent to it that I love.

So there you have it - a look at some of the new items from MyChelle! I really enjoy all four of these, but I have to say the Hydrating Cream is my favorite. I can tell it's going to be a life saver in the winter when I get that super dry skin across my cheeks from the cold!

Merlot Grape Seed Moisturizer

No comments :

*Disclaimer: this product was sent for review purposes.

I recently had the chance to try out a moisturizer from Merlot Skincare. They make a lot of products using grape seed and I was excited to try out one of the face products. I've been using it for about a month now and can tell you I'm in love with it. I'm usually careful about trying a new moisturizer because while I don't have sensitive skin, my skin is quite oily and if I don't use ones that are specifically for my skin type, I can sometimes get an oil overload and break out. I had been using the Simple moisturizer for ages just because I didn't want to break away from that one if it was working well for me. I am happy to report that this product is non-oily and causes no issues for me!
It definitely absorbs nicely and soaks right into the skin, which I love. There's nothing worse than getting a moisturizer that feels like it's just sitting on your skin rather than helping it.
A quick look at the ingredients.
The product is a light purple color which immediately made me think it would smell like grapes haha! It is fragrance free so there are no perfumes, but it still has a fresh clean scent to it, almost fruity.
It's also got a cool consistency - it's not quite  gel, but not quite a cream - kind of in-between the two. When you rub it onto your skin it feels like a liquid and soaks right in. This is a 4oz jar and is going to last me a long time because a little goes a long way!
Another attempt at trying to show the texture!

I think my favorite thing about this is how amazing it makes your skin feel. The first night I tried it out, about 10 minutes after I used it on my face I noticed how soft my skin felt. Even my husband said the same thing! If you guys haven't tried any type of face product made from grape seed, I would urge you to check out the website (I will list all their links below!) I have definitely found a new favorite moisturizer!
