Covergirl truBlend Fixstick Concealer

No comments :
The Covergirl truBlend Fixstick is their newest concealer, and as soon as I thought it, I thought of the recently released L'Oreal True Match concealer crayons. Same idea, same packaging...but same results?
I got the second lightest shade, L5-7. This matches my skin tone perfectly and to be honest I may pick up the lightest shade, because I like to go a bit lighter under my eyes to help brighten.
These are in a twist-up tube, so even though it looks like a crayon, there's no need to sharpen it. That's pretty much my favorite thing about all the new chubby pencil-type products - no sharpening!
This concealer goes on smooth and creamy, and is easily blendable. It gives decent coverage, and I have been using it every day as my under eye concealer. This is one of the VERY FEW that doesn't crease under my eyes! So for that, it gets a huge thumbs up from me. How does it differ from the L'Oreal one?

I actually like this BETTER than the L'Oreal. I know everyone raved about the L'Oreal ones and I did too, but to me the L'Oreal one seems a bit slicker, that's the only way to describe it. I wouldn't say "greasier," but it has more of an oily feel that this one does. I would recommend the L'Oreal True Match crayons for drier skin types, and these Covergirl truBlend ones for my fellow oily skin types. I find that as long as I set this with a little powder, it will last me all day without needing any touch-ups. Definitely love it!!
