Not Your Mother's Clean Freak

No comments :
I know I talked about this in my Violet VoxBox post, but I need to go a little more in-depth with it now that I've been using it longer. It's the Not Your Mother's Clean Freak Refreshing Dry Shampoo, and this warrants its own post. I'll start by saying that this was sent to me in a VoxBox from Influenster for review purposes!
I am not normally a dry shampoo person. Well, not until I found this stuff. I need a dry shampoo in my life, yes, but have always had the damndest time finding one that I like. The main reason for that is they always make my hair feel dirty and gross, and I end up washing it out anyway. Lately I have been straightening my hair all the time because I had it cut a little too short and can't wear it naturally curly without looking like a poofball. Because of this, I need to use my heat protectants and those tend to leave my hair feeling oily.

Fast forward to receiving this in my VoxBox - I was weary of it at first, but figured I'd use it on my second day hair and give it a shot. And you know what? I love everything about it!!

This was a 1.6 oz. size and I've already gone through it, so that's not so great, but I have reeeeally thick hair. I plan on getting a full size as soon as I can. It sprays out like a hairspray would, and you brush it through your hair (it will look white at first, but as soon as you brush through, it doesn't leave any residue. It smells great as well - almost citrusy, very clean and fresh - and doesn't choke you when you spray it in the bathroom! It actually makes my hair feel clean instead of just weighed down and gross like most dry shampoos do to me.

I would DEFINITELY recommend this dry shampoo for anyone like me who couldn't find a good one before. Now that I've found it, I'm stickin' with it!!
