I've got a few items from Studio Gear to review today. I've loved the stuff that I've tried from them thus far, so let's check out the Gel Cream Eye Color, #31 brush, and Pro T.L.S. Mascara.
The brush is very soft and angled - it is a little fluffier than what I usually use for a liner brush, but it makes a great smudger.

Now for the eye color, it is in the shade Invincible Earth, which is a deep brown. I noticed when I opened it that it's sunk way down in the jar like it dried out before I got a chance to use it. The color is great and it seems very pigmented, it's just very hard to blend and wants to stick to my finger because again, it feels like it dried out.
I should be able to get away with using it as an eye base however, because I am able to apply it more easily with my fingertip. This stuff DOES NOT BUDGE when you try to smear it or wipe it off! It doesn't claim on the packaging to be waterproof, but it seems like it is because you have to scrub to get it off. That's a huge plus for people who have watery eyes, because using this as a liner means it won't run off your eyes if they start tearing. I just wish it was a little bit smoother, but like I said, I think I might have just gotten a defective one because it seems dried out.
Then we have the Pro L.T.S. Mascara. Really clean, simple packaging:
The shade is blackest black and I really like the formula. It's not clumpy and doesn't leave my lashes feeling dried out or "crispy."
The wand is a decent size, nothing too crazy, but it has tightly packed bristles that really grab your lashes to ensure a good, even coat of mascara.
This is my naked eye with nothing on it, and below are 2 shots of my made-up eye using this mascara.
It definitely gives a decent amount of length. That's the main thing I notice with this mascara. It doesn't make a mess by getting all over my eyelids, has a great consistency, and doesn't flake off throughout the day.
If you haven't tried anything from Studio Gear yet, be sure to check out their website and see what else they offer! Their mineral wet/dry foundation is seriously my absolute favorite, so I highly recommend trying that out!
