ColourPop Ultra Matte Lips in Chi and Lumiere 2
I recently picked up 2 of the newer ColourPop Ultra Matte Lips shades, so I wanted to get some swatches up for you guys! I have reviewed so many of these by now that you probably all know, if you've been following my blog for a bit, how much I adore these lipsticks!
The first new color I grabbed is from the KaePop collection, and it's called Chi. This one looks a little different in person to me than it does on their site. That's the one issue I have with ColourPop is that the swatches on their site are not always true to color. It's described as a cool tone nude beige, but it's a lot more of a browner nude in person than what I thought it would be.
At first I hated the color on myself, but it's definitely grown on me. It has a very similar look to Jeffree Star's Posh Spice, so if you're looking for a cheaper alternative to that, this might work for you!
Now the other color I picked up is Lumiere 2. This is probably the prettiest mauvey-purple lipstick I now own. The first Lumiere was in Lippy Stix form, and was a little bit more pink toned. This one leans more purple on me.
I love this color SO MUCH! It's one of those shades that looks darker on me than it does in the tube, but in this case that works, because it's just so pretty. If you like the idea of purple lipstick but don't want to go full on violet, bright purple, this is a very subtle way to wear it.
As always, these are super long wearing and apply beautifully. I recommend ColourPop Ultra Mattes to everyone because they are only $6 a pop and work WAY better than some of the $20 liquid lipsticks I've purchased. These for sure are worth every penny!
