Mwah Cosmetics Lip Balms & Glosses

No comments :
I was recently sent some stuff to try out from Mwah Cosmetics, and am so excited to share this stuff with you guys! Everything is so cute!

First of all, the packaging is to die for. It's ADORABLE. Bright, fun, colorful. I have 2 glosses and 3 balms to talk about here. First up are the balms, and these come in little slide-out containers. They have a cool rubberized feeling to them and the little tray that slides out is what contains the product.

This one is Sweet Tart and for some reason it smells kind of melon-y to me, but on the lips it definitely has the Sweet Tart scent to it.

Coconut Chick smells exactly like coconut and I think will be a go-to balm for me this summer! (I'm actually packing this to take with me on my Disney trip next week!) Something about coconut just always reminds me of summer and warm weather.

Mango Tango is probably my favorite out of the three. It's just a straight up mango scent!
(Sorry the balms all have my fingerprints in them - I accidentally deleted the pictures that I took before I tried them all out!)

I love the flat shape of the packaging on these, because you can easily stick one in your pocket and not worry about it bulging or sticking out. They glide very smoothly and feel good on the lips. They're not sticky at all, which is always a huge plus. They're also not thick at all, so it doesn't feel like you have much on your lips. I find that if I'm not eating or doing a lot lips-wise, these keep my lips moisturized for a couple hours before needing to re-apply. Overall, a nice little balm in cute packaging!

Now for the glosses! This is called Pachy Keen Lip Gloss and comes in a standard little squeeze tube:
This gloss is clear and has a pretty thick consistency, so a little goes a long way. It smells SO GOOD. Like peach mixed with fruit punch. The applicator tip is slightly angled, which makes it easy to apply it straight from the tube:
It gives lips a hint of shine, but nothing too crazy.
I think this is a great product for younger girls wanting to get into their first bits and pieces of makeup. Heck, it's great for EVERYbody. Who doesn't want a peach scented gloss?

Now this one is a little different. It's called Sugar Lips Lip Gloss, and this one comes packaged on a cardboard backing.
It's the same size squeeze tube, but this one has a rounded applicator tip.
This gloss has a gorgeous iridescent pink sheen to it. Again, great for someone who doesn't want to wear a lot of color on their lips. It has a thick consistency just like the clear gloss.
The best part is the scent! This one has the scent/flavor of cinnamon buns or some sort of baked good - I can't quite tell what it is, but it's good!!

Neither of the glosses are sticky, despite the fact that they are pretty thick. I have really been enjoying them and love the scents/flavors and packaging that they have to offer! I know that Ulta carries the Coconut Chick balm, but have not seen any of their other products there yet. You can visit their website, http://www.perfectlypoutable.com/ for a list of stores where their products are carried!

All the Mwah products are solar-factory made, not tested on animals, and paraben & sulfate free! Nothing but good stuff!

This seems like such a fun new brand and I can't wait to see what else they come out with!
