Insta Natural Dead Sea Mud Mask & Vitamin C Facial Toner

No comments :

Today I have a couple of items from a brand called Insta Natural that they were kind enough to send to me to review for you guys, a face mask and a toner.

First I will talk about the Dead Sea Mud Mask. This is a GIANT tub of product, you get 16 oz. and I can tell you, it's going to a last a long time!
You're only supposed to use this mask once a week, which is something I should mention first. The directions are pretty much the same as any face mask: apply to clean skin, leave on for 10 to 15 minutes, and use warm water and gentle circular motions to remove.

The mask has a pretty thin formula, and I didn't notice it get particularly tight like a lot of face masks do, so it wasn't uncomfortable to have on your face. It came off easily, so that's also a plus - no scrubbing at your face trying to remove it!
Oddly enough, this has no scent at all to it. I'm used to face masks always having SOME type of a scent, but I can't smell anything with this one. It doesn't dry out my face, but does seem to eliminate my oil after using it, so just something to note. It might dry out drier skin types, but it works great on my oily skin. My skin feels smooth, clean, and refreshed after using it and like I said, it kept my oil at bay for a good 12 hours or so.

I honestly think this is gentle enough to use more than once a week, but I will listen to the instructions. I have used masks that are much harsher on the skin that say you can use them several times a week, so I'm not sure what ingredients in here are strong enough that you shouldn't be using it more than once every 7 days.

Now for the toner! This is the Pore Tightening Vitamin C Facial Toner.
I love that this is in a spray bottle - you don't see that too often with toners. It makes it that much easier to apply! I wash my face first, then give a spritz of this all over - it says you can wipe away excess with a cotton ball, which I like to do just to help remove any excess oil.. After it's dry, I apply my moisturizer and I'm good to go.

Unlike the mud mask, this has a pretty strong scent to it. It's almost citrusy, but also medicine-like. It doesn't bother me too much because it's not something that lingers. This spray has Witch Hazel in it, which I have used as a toner for years, so it's no wonder it works so well. It definitely cleanses away extra oils and dirt and leaves your skin feeling cool and refreshed. I can see myself putting this in the refrigerator in the summer time and using it as a refreshing spray for my face!

You can purchase the Dead Sea Mud Mask HERE. The Vitamin C Toner is available on Amazon .
