The Christmas Blogger Tag

2 comments :
I told you guys I would start doing more tags, so here goes! I saw this one on my friend Lucy's blog and thought it would be a fun one. You can check hers out HERE!

1. What is your favorite Christmas Movie/s?
There are a lot! I always have to watch Home Alone 1 & 2, that's a given. Jingle All the Way is what kicks off the holiday season for me, as my brother and I watch it every Thanksgiving. Rudolph, The Year Without a Santa Claus, The Santa Clause movies. I think the number one has to be A Christmas Story, because they play a 24-hour marathon every year and it is on allllll day long at my Grandma's!
2. Do you open your presents on Christmas Eve or Christmas morning?
My family always opened one gift on Christmas Eve, and then the rest in the morning. I'm continuing that tradition with Aiden!
3. Do you have a favorite Christmas memory?
Hmm. I think every Christmas is usually special in its own way. My brother and I always had the best time on Christmas growing up, and now it's still fun because we have Aiden, and he's the only little kid in my family right now lol. It's going to be fun this year because he is old enough now to get excited about toys and stuff!
4. Favorite festive food?
I love my Grandma's cheesecake SO MUCH!!!
5. Favorite Christmas gift?
Probably my computer! But if we're being nostalgic, I remember wanting the big Polly Pocket town set so badly one year, and when I got it on Christmas morning I was so excited. My best friend had wanted it too and we called each other later that day to be like, "Did you get it? Yeah!!!" hahaha
6. Favorite Christmas scent?
Baking, food, and Winter Candy Apple everything from Bath & Body Works! (I actually have that in my Wallflower warmer right now!)
7. Do you have any Christmas Eve traditions?
Everyone gets Christmas Eve pajamas!
8. What tops your tree?
Funny enough, we don't usually put a tree topper on. I remember when I still lived at my Grandma's we had a red angel that my brother and I called the Hell's Angel LOL. For some reason whenever we got a tree topper, it was always too heavy and would bend the top of the tree. Needless to say, the angel didn't last long!!
9. As a kid what was the one (crazy, wild, extravagant) gift you always asked for but never received?
I don't think there ever was anything like that. I knew better than to be crazy and ask for a pony or something LOL.
10. What’s the best part about Christmas for you?
I LOVE giving gifts. I love to shop, and I love to find things that I think everyone will like. Also, being with family. It's even more important to me now that I don't live at home anymore. You take it for granted, believe me! Every year, I would just wake up and all my family was already there. Now we have to wake up, do Christmas here, get ready, and go out to my Grandma's house lol. That's why it's even more important now to spend time with family because I don't see them as often as I used to!

I hope you guys enjoyed this! I will get back to the makeup reviews with the next post :)

  1. Aww loved this post Meg! :) Chris introduced me to 'A Christmas Story' last year as it's his and his best friends favourite Christmas movie and I hadn't seen it before, it was really cute, I liked it and we have already watched it this year now! :p Also I LOVE the idea of Christmas Eve pajamas, yes please. I want to start some sort of cozy tradition like that. :) xx

  2. Yes! I think that movie came out the year I was born, and my grandma loves it so it's become a tradition to watch it every year. Christmas Eve pajamas are a must! I saw a cute idea for kids to put pajamas, a Christmas book/movie and some hot cocoa mix and snacks in a box and let them open that for Christmas Eve, I'm going to have to do that with Aiden this year!
