ColourPop Super Shock Shadows Holiday Sets

3 comments :
A brand I've been talking about a lot lately, ColourPop, have come out with a whole bunch of limited edition products for the holidays. I limited myself to the two 4-packs of eyeshadows because they were just too pretty to pass up! The packaging is goregous, that's first off, but the shadows are even better!

The first set is called Nix the Nice. The 4 shadows come in a little box like this, with cut-outs so you can see the colors:
I've mentioned the formula of these shadows in my previous posts about them and how they are a crazy cream-to-powder product. I love them and cannot gush enough about their awesomeness!

Glitterati is an icy silver laced with gold glitter and is a metallic finish:

La La is a true rose gold with an ultra metallic finish:

Hot Toddy is a hot cherry red with silver sparkles. It is a pressed pigment and deemed "not safe for the eye area," but it is like the Urban Decay Electric palette in that it doesn't bother me, probably won't bother anyone who doesn't have super sensitive eyes, but they have to say that just in case!

Roulette is a true matte black. If I'm not mistaken, this is the first matte shadow they;ve ever done, and it's pretty nice!

The other set is called Never Naughty, and this one just screams winter to me - the colors are perfect!

Sugar Plum is an opalescent pink with a violet and blue duochrome and is a satin finish. This is one of those shades that looks white in the pan, but once applied it is all different shades in the light!

Snow Flurry is a dirty icy silver with multi colored glitter and a metallic finish:

Dasher is probably my favorite out of this new bunch. It is a lavender with pink glitter and a metallic finish:

Etiquette is a royal blue with a pearlized finish:

I think they did a great job with these as winter sets - Nix the Nice screams Christmas to me and Never Naughty screams winter/ice princess! I love all of the colors, especially Dasher. That one is just super unique to me for some reason. It looks gorgeous paired with Snow Flurry! I couldn't pick one over the other, which is why I had to go and get both haha. I think these will make great little gifts for anyone who is into makeup on your Christmas list. The best part is the prices are great - $20 for a 4 pack of amazing shadows is pretty good if you ask me!
