I recently picked up 3 of the new Jane Water-Resistant liners from Kohl's, and at $6 a pop these are some of the best colorful liners ever! In the past, I wasn't a fan of Jane products - the shadows were too chalky and not pigmented, the lipsticks were waxy - everything seemed like very cheaply made products. This is the first time since they relaunched the line and started selling them at department stores that I've tried anything, and I was reluctant to do so because of my past experiences with their products. Boy did these liners change my mind!
The first awesome thing about these is that there are loads of colors to choose from. Also, they are twist-up liners, which means no need to sharpen! They are smooth and creamy and SO pigmented, I can't say enough great things about them.
The first one is Teal, and I had ordered the sparkly black but they sent this one instead. Either way, it's a pretty color and I enjoy it! It has a little bit of a shimmer to it, which is nice.
Next is Purple Lilac, and it's a really pretty light purple with a sort of iridescent blue sheen to it. It reminds me of Urban Decay's Fishnet eyeshadow.
Last we have Lime Green, which is my favorite of the bunch. I've never had a bright liner like this that actually applies true to the color of the packaging. This one is matte, but it isn't chalky or patchy, it's just gorgeous!
I already mentioned they are smooth. They apply like a dream - no tugging, pulling, nothing like that. But do they last? I have been using these on my lower lash line, which I RARELY do, because color always wants to melt off my eyes when I put it in that spot, no matter how much a try to use primer, set it with powder, etc. These, for some reason don't budge on me! If it's a super hot day and I'm a bit sweaty, then they show some signs of wear by the end of a long day, but nowhere near what other liners I've tried do. I highly, highly recommend these and because they are so affordable you'll want to grab one in every color!
