MAC Worldly Wealth Blush from the Moody Blooms Collection

No comments :
I apologize that it's taken me forever to post my Moody Blooms reviews - these should have been up weeks ago! Today I'll be talking about Worldly Wealth blush. This one caught my eye because it is just SO different from any blush that I had already. I tend to go for pinks most of the time, and they did have a pink in this collection, but this one just struck me as something I needed to own. It is a shimmery coppery bronze which would make you think "bronzer" at first glance, but for me it is too shimmery and not the right shade to use as a bronzer.

When I first got it, I thought "this is going to be a hard color to wear," but it's really not. I am quite pale and it works. It's very different than the pink I'm used to all the time, but it's so pretty. I find that with this, I don't need to do bronzer and highlighter, just wear this alone.

It looks quite dark, but it doesn't swatch as dark as it looks in the pan.
It has more of an orangey tone once swatched, which is probably what makes it work as a blush. If it leaned more toward the brown side, there's no way I could wear it without looking like I had dirty cheeks or something! It goes on smooth and blends nicely, and is definitely a buildable color.

I have really been enjoying it as a summer blush. I just checked to make sure, and at the time I'm writing this post, it is still available on maccosmetics.com, so if you're leaning towards buying it, I definitely would snatch it up!
