Wet n' Wild Walking the Red Carpet Limited Edition Spring 2014 Palette

No comments :
The past few years, Wet n' Wild has come out with some pretty spring palettes. I couldn't get my hands on them last year, but the ones that came out this year were sent to me by one of my wonderful readers/viewers! This one is the more neutral of the two, and it's called Walking the Red Carpet. Let's have a look:

I was really impressed with this one, as with the Poster Child palette that I reviewed the other day. They really step it up when it comes to their 8-pan palettes! I don't have any issues with any of the 8 shadows in this one, which is pretty awesome.

On the left side of the palette:
- Light peachy-pink matte, this one is super smooth and creamy feeling
- Light tan satin finish
- Shimmery medium brown
- Deep matte brown with slight bits of copper glitter in it

On the right side of the palette:
- Shimmery off-white color
- Super glittery gold, this one has a drier texture than the other shadows but actually doesn't have as much fallout as I was expecting during application!
- Metallic gold, this one is a little deeper in color than the glittery one
- Red-toned brown with slight gold shimmer. This one is INSANELY pigmented!

All of these swatches are just one swipe of color, with no base or primer on my skin. Crazy right? Yeah, this palette is no joke. Gorgeous colors and pigmentation, they all blend great. Even the matte shades in this are amazing when a lot of WnW mattes can tend to be chalky. Definitely a must have if you can track this sucker down!!

I talk about the spring palettes in this video:
