This little gem was a must-have for me. I kept telling myself I didn't need anything from the new Pantone collection, but the lovely Ingrid over at Nenta's Frivolity pretty much confirmed the fact that I needed it when she posted some amazing swatches!
(Ugh that little speck in all my pictures is driving me nuts! There is dust inside my camera lens and I don't dare attempt to take it apart as the lenses for these damn things can be just as much as the cameras themselves! )
The palette is quite sleek and has some gorgeous packaging - it is, of course, radiant orchid and fades to white.
The back of the palette shows the names of the colors, which is a plus. A lot of palettes recently tend to nix the names of colors and that is very annoying! *coughNARSissitPalettecough*
These shades are all beautiful. You get 2 blushes and a highlighter and I am not kidding when I tell you that these are AMAZING quality!
This is Bridal Rose, first without flash and then with flash:
And here it is swatched - heavy on the left and blended on the right:
This is a peachy-pink shimmery blush, though it tends to pull more peach toned on my skin.
This is Spanish Villa, which is the highlight shade. Again, first without flash and then with flash:
And swatched:
This is kind of your average shimmery champagne highlighter shade, but it is so smooth and blendable. Great quality!
Last but not least you have Radiant Orchid:
And swatched:
This seems like an odd color for blush but it is so pretty, especially for spring. Like the other two it is incredibly pigmented, but since this one is darker you have to be more lighthanded with it. This one has a slight shimmer to it but it's nothing crazy. It also has amazing staying power because it tends to leave a stain behind until you use makeup remover.
For $26, you can't go wrong with this palette - you get 3 great shades that are extremely high quality, smooth, and easy to work with. It's a great addition to anyone's collection!
