I received my Violet VoxBox from Influenster and wanted to share my thoughts on the products with you guys! A lot of people got the "Rose" box last month and I guess they ran out of those so I ended up getting the Violet one - let's see what's inside!
The first thing is a Goody Athletique Headband. This retails for $6.00. They sent me a pink and black one which is awesome because that's one of my favorite color combos!
It's very lightweight, soft material. It's not too stretchy - which helps it stay on my head! I always have an issue with stretchy headbands because they just want to slide off, but this one holds my hair in place and doesn't budge. It's also sweat-absorbent for when you work out, which I'll admit I don't really do lol!
Next is a Sally Hansen Triple Shine polish in the color Sparks Fly. This retails for $4.99.
It's a sheer blue gel base with multi-sized silver glitters in it. Very pretty, but the larger glitters take some coaxing with the brush to get them on the nail. Kind of a pain, I would use this over a blue or silver polish so that I don't have to do a million coats of it!
(don't mind that I still had a smidge of red on my nail - just testing it out!!
Then we have a SOYJOY bar in Cranberry that retails for .99
(I opened it to try it when I recorded my first impressions video - sorry for the ugly photo!
I was actually surprised that this was decent. I tend to stay away from these types of bars because I've tried SO MANY and they all taste like cardboard! With this one, all you really taste is dried cranberries, so that's okay with me. I like that they include treats in these VoxBoxes every now and then - it's always fun to try things I haven't tried before!
Then we have Not Your Mother's Clean Freak Refreshing Dry Shampoo. This is a travel size but I believe the full size retails for $5.99
This has a nice citrus-y scent and though it's a spray shampoo which I normally tend to hate, I actually like it!! All the spray ones that I've tried just make my hair feel gross and look dull no matter what I do. This one actually makes my hair feel clean and fresh and doesn't leave any residue. New love! I may have to get this in the full size when I see it in a store!
Last but not least is the Montagne Jeunesse Clay Spas Red Earth mask. This retails for $2.49
It is one of the cloth masks that you put on your face (looks freaky, I wish I had snapped a pic while using it!!) but this particular one has clay, pomegranate and cinnamon in it and smells amazing. It pretty much smells like a pomegranate.
It is a bit messy, but that's to be expected when you put a clay-soaked mask on your face! This honestly felt SO good and left my face feeling very clean and refreshed. I'm anxious to try some of the other ones they have now as well!
