I decided to try one of the Urban Decay 24/7 Glide-On Lip Pencils for 2 reasons: I have never tried one of their lip pencils before, and with as many bright pink lipsticks as I have, I don't have a bright pink liner to go with them. So I chose the color Anarchy, a nice fuchsia color.
The color has a bit of a blue iridescence to it, it's really pretty. It goes on smoothly and doesn't tug like a lot of lip pencils do. (I can't stand MAC lip pencils, they're always dry and don't blend and just crappy for the price they charge for them!) But these are totally different. It applies matte and kind of just sinks into your lips and stains them so that even when your lipstick wears off, this will still be there.
Here's a few shots with and without flash on the back of my hand. With the flash you can sort of see that blue-ish flash I was talking about.
Now a few shots of it on my lips - it definitely looks like a stain when you wear it alone. I prefer wearing lipstick over it because on its own it can feel a little dry. My favorite "bold lip" combo as of late is wearing this with the Urban Decay Super Saturated lip pencil in the color Crush. It's basically the same color pink as this liner minus that blue flash to it, and it's also super glossy.
Add to it the fact that this is also a long-lasting lip product, you get a bad ass bright pink bold lip that lasts pretty much all day long! Here is what they look like paired together:
Pretty, right? Definitely a new favorite combo of mine!! If you have both of these products you should definitely try it out, I'm sure you'll fall in love with it if you love bright pinks like me!
