I picked up 2 of the Maybelline Colorsensational lipsticks from the limited edition fall 2013 line recently, the same time I picked up 2 of the lip glosses. These caught my eye because they were bright and fun. I was hoping they'd be as pigmented as the Vivids that everyone loved. They are bright and nicely pigmented, but they fall short compared to the Vivids.
Fuchsia Fierce is a bright pink, pretty similar to Fuchsia Flash from the Vivids line. If you own that one I'd say this one isn't a must - they're far too close to bother worrying about getting both of them.
It's pretty pigmented and glides on nicely. I'm a sucker for pinks so of course I gravitated towards this one!
Lavender Voltage is a bold purple. I'm not going to lie, I grabbed this one by accident - I thought I was getting the lighter purple color! That's what I get for not paying attention. It must have been in the wrong spot on the display and I didn't look at the bottom of the tube to double check.
It's a pretty color, but applies streaky. Maybe it can be used over a more opaque color. It's definitely a must have for lovers of purple lips, I'm going to do some funky stuff with it for Halloween, that's for sure.
So although they aren't quite as awesome as the Vivids, they are still some fun colors and nice for fall. I'm sure my fellow Vivids fans will be happy with these!
