Essence 3D Eyeshadow in Purr-ple

I have been awaiting the arrival of the new Essence products at my Ulta since I first heard about them. I don't get there that often, but whenever I go and check the display, they haven't had any of the new stuff. This time they finally had the new 3D shadows, but most of them were broken and they didn't even have a true spot in the display - they were just randomly thrown on there so I had to search for them. I ended up getting Purr-ple because this one was really pretty!

The left side is a bright purple with violet glitter, and the right side is a metallic lavender. Now, purple shadows are usually hit or miss pigmentation wise (especially ones like the purple Color Tattoo - I had such high hopes for that one!!) but this one is pleasantly surprising!

I took shots from a few different angles so you can really see the glitter in the bright purple. That side of the shadow is a bit powdery, but nothing major. It blends nicely and is a gorgeous color. The metallic lavender is great as well - they are both super pigmented and I love them! I was wanting the turquoise one, "Mermaid's Kiss" I think it's called, but once I saw it in person I figured I had enough colors like that already. I believe this shadow was $3.49, a dollar more than their single shadows, but sooo worth it! I have really loved all the Essence products I've tried so far and this is no exception! Hopefully next time I go to Ulta they will have the rest of the new stuff!
