Wet n' Wild released their holiday collection, and the one thing that really stood out to me was this Gold Bar highlighter. It reminds me of the super expensive Charlotte Tilbury one, and I was interested to see how good this one was.
You get 6.2g in here, which is pretty good, and there is technically 2 shades. The little star is more of a pinky-toned gold, and the rest of it is a champagne gold color. When you mix them together, you get a light rose gold shade.
The formula is very smooth and blends nicely. I was surprised to find that it's not super powdery like a lot of Wet n' Wild face products are. Their blushes and face powders are always insanely powdery and this one doesn't kick up a bunch of product at all.
The top swatch is the star section, the middle is the rectangular section, and the bottom swatch is the two blended together. I really like the finish of this, because it has shimmer to it but isn't overpowering. It can of course be built up for a more intense highlight as well, and because of the golden tint to it, this will work well as a highlighter on a lot of different skin tones!
