Kat Von D Lock-It Concealer in White Out

No comments :
I was pretty excited that Kat came out with a bright white concealer. Not because I like to do the insanely light undereyes, but because I have a lot of undereye concealers that are too dark for me, and I figured mixing them with this was a good way to get some use out of them!

The tube it comes in is very heavy duty feeling. I thought it was glass when I first got it, but it is a very thick plastic. It feels sturdy, and has a nice little soft applicator inside. Now for the formula ...
This stuff is THICK. Like, tacky and thick and feels like face paint. It is VERY easy to over-do it with this, so you have to be careful. It does blend nicely, but sets quickly so you have to work fast. I have been mixing it with more liquidy concealers, and I find that helps a lot when it comes to applying it. That being said, it stays put! The biggest issue I have, and I think just about anyone has with concealers (especially under the eyes!) is creasing. This has not done it once to me yet, and it was about 90 degrees the first couple of days I tried this. For that alone I think it's worth it!
I am really interested in getting a skin tone shade, but there are quite a few to pick from so I'm going to have to wait until my Sephora has them so I can go in and find the right color. I'm very weary of doing that online because that is just asking for a shade that doesn't match me well!

At $26 it's pretty pricey for a concealer, but you really only need the tiniest bit because it's so full coverage and crazy that I think this tube will last a really long time (for me anyway!) I hope this review was helpful for you guys, stay tuned for more coming soon!
