Makeup Revolution Ultra Strobe Balm - Euphoria

1 comment :
I picked this up the last time I went to Ulta because it looked like a great dupe for a cream highlighter that I used to love from Urban Decay. Coincidentally, ColourPop's Monster highlighter is pretty similar! This is around $9 at Ulta, depending on if there's a sale or not.

This is a cream highlighter that looks white but shifts to a pearly pink in different lighting. I love the color, I love the formula, and I really recommend this for anyone with oily skin who is afraid of cream products! It works great and stays on all day!

The formula os it is very slick, which is probably why it's called a "balm" instead of a "cream." It glides on effortlessly and I find that my fingers are all I need - if using a brush, a stipling brush works best!
It's one of those fun highlighters that looks boring at first glance but once you actually pick up the pan and look at it, you can see how much pearly-ness and color shift it has.

Here I swatched it heavily on the left and then blended it out on the right.
And here it is on the left, next to ColourPop's Monster on the right:
Definitely a great little find at Ulta - I never seem to hear much about the Makeup Revolution line, but I've found some great products from them so far!
