It Cosmetics CC+ Radiance Ombre Blush in Sugar Plum

No comments :
A week or so before Christmas I had gone to Ulta for a few last minute gifts, and my son actually picked one of these blushes up and started looking at it. I had never even seen these before (where have I been?!) If you have followed me for a while, you know my obsession with ombre blushes. Bot Wet n Wild and NYX have ombre blushes coming out for spring, and I am insanely excited. I have aldo been into darker blush shades lately, which is why I picked this one up in Sugar Plum. They only had one other shade, which was a coral and very close to Ocean City blush that came out with MAC's Proenza Schouler collection, so I didn't grab that one.
Right off the bat, the compact is gorgeous. The whole thing is mirrored so it does pick up fingerprints pretty easily, but it's SO SHINY! I think packaging like this always looks nice on my vanity, it's just pretty to look at!
You can essentially get 3 shades out of this blush, just like with any other ombre blush. You have the dusty plum shade at the top that has a more satin finish to it, a shimmery champagne shade at the bottom, and mixed together they make a nice slightly shimmery plum shade:
It is very pigmented, so you'll want to add a little at a time. I think this is one of those perfect winter shades, because it does give you a very natural flushed look like you've just been outside in the cold. The formula itself is so silky smooth and blends amazingly. I've got to say, It Cosmetics makes some pretty awesome face products from what I have tried so far. This blush formula in particular reminds me a lot of the Hourglass blushes, which I think is safe to say are my favorite blush formula EVER. So smooth, pigmented, and they make your skin look awesome too!

Have you tried the It Cosmetics CC+ Radiance blushes yet? Let me know in the comments, because I wasn't even aware these existed until my son found them in Ulta lol!
