I had to cave and get this palette because I've heard so many great things about it - and let me tell you, those things are true!
First of all, the packaging is right up my alley. I love anything macabre and strange, and this coffin shaped eyeshadow palette just so happens to be something I have never seen before in the makeup world.
It has a magnetic closure, and the mirror is bat shaped - it's not the biggest mirror, but it goes so well with this whole theme that I can't fault it. It is a very neutral palette without having colors that you see in EVERY neutral palette - it's pretty unique!
Invocation is a shimmery beige with a slight pink tone:
Myth is a matte cream that has the slightest lavender tone to it:
Spook is a maroon that has a satin finish:
Reincarnation is a matte pale taupe. I have been using this constantly as a crease color!
Ghoulight is a brownish matte purple:
I love how everything is very purple-y pink toned in this palette. It's neutral without being too generic or boring. I love me some neutrals, but after a while all neutral palettes start to look the same, especially when you have a bunch of them. I definitely recommend this to those of you who like cool toned neutrals. The formula of the shadows is really awesome - the mattes blend so well and aren't patchy, everything is nice and smooth and they just work so well. I find that they blend pretty effortlessly, and whenever I do my whole eye look with this palette, it's a breeze to apply everything. I love it to pieces!!
