MAC Color Drenched Pigment in Moon is Blue - Magic of the Night Collection

No comments :
The MAC holiday collection this year has some stunning packaging. I had to pick something up from it! I REALLY wanted the Oh, Darling MSF but it seemed impossible to get. I finally ordered 2 from Bloomingdale's, and when my order came, they weren't in the box, just this eyeshadow. I won't even get into that rant, but for now let's take a look at the shadow!

It's called a "color drenched pigment" because it is super pigmented. Moon is Blue is - you guessed it - a navy blue with lots of shimmery goodness!
The packaging on these pigments is a gorgeous teal color. I kind of wanted them all, but this one was the only one that really spoke to me color-wise. The others all looked like stuff I have 10 times over in my collection lol.
It's definitely got a metallic finish to it, and is even more intense if you put it over a black base (which I failed to take a picture of - ugh!) lol
Aside from being pigmented, the formula is nice and blendable, which is a huge plus. I don't experience any fallout either - thumbs up!

The holiday collection usually restocks a few times, but I haven't seen the MSF's restock at ALL yet, which is a huge bummer. It turns out mine got sent to someone in error, and they actually returned them, but instead of them then shipping them to me, they just put them back in stock. Bloomingdale's has THE WORST customer service I have ever dealt with. They did nothing to help me out in any way, it took them more than 3 days to respond to any emails I sent with nothing but a generic message, and I never did get in touch with anyone on the phone because they had such long wait times I gave up each time. Horrible, horrible, horrible service. I really don't think I'll ever purchase from them again, just out of principle. I worked retail long enough to know that you do not treat customers that way!
