I picked up a few of the new eyeliners from ColourPop, both in pot form and pencil form to try out. Let me tell you, I don't know how these are so cheap ($6 for the pots and $5 for the pencils) because they work better than expensive liners that I've tried. Have a look!
The pots are your average little glass pot with a white lid that has the holographic ColourPop logo on it.
This one is called Piggy Bank, and while this looked a little more pink on their website, it's still a pretty color. It's like a purply fuchsia.
Then we have Get Paid, which is a metallic gold.
These creme colors are extremely smooth and glide on effortlessly. There's no pulling or tugging when you apply them, and they are completely opaque with one swipe. That is HUGE for me, because I have tried plenty of gel liners like this where you have to make 3 or 4 passes with your brush before they are completely opaque and not patchy.
The pencils are pretty much the same smooth formula, just in pencil form. They are the twist-up style, which is my favorite because you don't have t sharpen them. Again, I got Piggy Bank:
This one seems a hint pinker than the pot form, but it's pretty either way. Just a matte fuchsia-purple!
I also got Get Paid in pencil form as well:
This is the same exact color as the one in the pot. It is the only metallic one I got, and the only neutral shade!
Zule is a seafoam green:
This one seemed darker on their website, but I'm not complaining as I love this color!
Punch is a sunshine yellow:
Yellow is one of the hardest colors to do when it comes to makeup, and they really hit it out of the park with this one. Bright, pigmented, and fun! I wish I had this for spring/summer, but it doesn't mean I won't rock it this winter lol
Last but not least, Boots is the hot pink liner that I have always been on the hunt for:
It is bright, it is pink, and it is perfection.
The only issue I've had so far is that Piggy Bank stains, so when I wear it and then wash my face, I have pink around my eyes and look sickly lol. Other than that, neither formula budges once it sets - give it a couple minutes and rub on it all you want, it's not going anywhere!! If you haven't grabbed any of these yet, I highly suggest them. They're so affordable, come in a ton of colors, and will make awesome stocking stuffers for friends and beauty lovin' family members this year!
