I love Jaclyn Hill and I love Becca products, so when I heard that she was doing a Shimmering Skin Perfector with them, I knew I had to get it. This is Champagne Pop, and it is beautiful!
The box is even pretty! It is a gold box with what looks like water droplets all over it - it reminds me a lot of the MAC Alluring Aquatic packaging from last summer!
The compact itself looks like all the other Becca Shimmering Skin Perfectors ( I was kind of hoping it would be gold like the box!)
The product itself is SO GORGEOUS. It is a golden champagne with peachy pink undertones that is going to work for so many different skin tones. I've heard a lot of people say this is really close to Opal, but I had that one and ended up selling it in a blog sale because while it was pretty, it was just too deep for me to use as a highlight. This one is definitely lighter, because it works great for me!
It has a lot of shimmer to it, but it's also buildable. You can brush it on lightly for a slight glow, or build it up for a full on shimmering highlight! I think that's what I like so much about it - I always love a good buildable highlight so you can choose how strong to apply it on a day to day basis. On the left below is a heavy swatch, and on the right it is blended out:
This has quickly become one of my new favorite highlighters! It is supposed to be quite limited, so grab it now while you can! This is one I'm definitely glad I didn't skip!
