My Walmart recently got all the new Hard Candy stuff, so of course I had to check everything out. I picked up one of their new lipsticks in the color Idolized. These are called Plumping Serum Lipsticks and I cannot tell you how nice they are! They really remind me of a $5 version of Buxom's lipsticks. Let me show you the awesomeness!
First off, I love the packaging. It's in a silver tube and the name and color are right on top. This makes storing them very easy because I can just see the color without having to open it up.
Idolized is a mauvey-pink shade:
The formula is SO creamy! It applies nice and smooth, has good pigmentation, and is so comfortable on the lips. It feels like a lip balm, to be honest. It doesn't have spectacular lasting power, but for $5 and such a nice formula, I'll take it!
As far as plumping goes, it doesn't do much. You get a very slight tingly/cooling feeling, which is fine by me because I hate lip plumpers that sting! It also has a slight marshmalow-y scent, which again reminds me of Buxom.
You can probably tell just by the picture of it on my lips how creamy it is! I am really impressed with this lipstick and can't wait to pick up a couple more.
