The only other thing I got from the Cinderella collection besides Little Black Bow Fluidline was the Coupe d'Chic Iridescent Powder. I went back and forth because I didn't know if I wanted this one or the Beauty Powder - they both looked pretty similar. The swatches I saw online showed this one to be the more pigmented one, so I went with it. It is a huge disappointment :(
The packaging is gorgeous - as a matter of fact I think I might depot a powder that I use a lot into this instead of dealing with the Coupe d'Chic powder.
It is "Cinderella blue" and you can see purple flashes when it hits the light. Really pretty. The inside is rimmed with gold, and of course there is a mirror in the lid.
Now the product itself looks like a pink blush with golden sheen. It really is quite pretty in the pan, but the product is so hard that you get barely any pigmentation out of it, ESPECIALLY when you try and get it out with a brush. I have tried the scraping that I did with the ombre blushes and that hasn't helped this one bit. It's just way too hard to get any color payoff from it, which is a huge bummer because it had the potential to be really pretty on the cheeks!
Here is a finger swatch, and this was from rubbing it pretty hard:
And then swatched on the skin:
Again, this was with my finger - if I try applying it with a brush, I get next to nothing on my skin. This is a huge disappointment because I thought it was going to be such a pretty highlight for the cheeks. Thumbs down on this one :(
