DC Comics Girls Batgirl Products

If there's one thing I've learned, it's that cute packaging always draws me in. ALWAYS. Walmart has these DC Comics Girls beauty products right now, and I couldn't resist grabbing a few Batgirl themed things.

The first thing is a hand sanitizer. It has a little purple cape on it! 

It smells very strongly of vanilla cake batter, and the scent lasts a while which is nice. These are always good to have in my bag, so you really can't go wrong with a hand sanitizer.

The nail polish, on the other hand ...

Again, it has adorable packaging and a little purple cape. That needs to come off because it just gets in the way when trying to use the polish brush. The color is just black and I can always use a new black nail polish but this is just a big fail.

It is kind of think and gooey, takes a long time to dry, needs a bunch of coats to be opaque - all the things you DON'T want in a nail polish formula. But the worst part? It smells SO BAD. It doesn't smell like nail polish at all, it has this super strong scent similar to that of spray paint, and after your nails are dry, if you wave your hand past your face you can still smell it. It's horrible and gives me a headache. It's safe to say I won't be using this again anytime soon!

So there you have it, one good and one bad. I believe there was a lipgloss in the line as well, but I didn't pick that up. I'd totally recommend the hand sanitizer just for the novelty aspect with the cute little cape, but steer clear of the nail polishes! The only other character I saw was Supergirl, but other Walmarts may have more.
