I have recently discovered the awesome that is Ardency Inn. I'd heard some good things about their shadows and although I can't seem to find them in any Sephora stores yet, they did have them online (though they keep selling out!) I picked up the color Punch, which is pretty unique to anything else in my collection. It's a matte bright coral pink. Have a look!
The packaging is kind of boring, nothing flashy here. It is a sleek little compact with a magnetic closure, which I like.
This shade happens to be matte, and let me tell you - for a bright color, it's one of the best mattes I've ever tried. A lot of the time, especially with bright mattes, you'll get a chalky, patchy, hard to work with shadow. Usually it's remedied by applying it over a white base, but you don't have to worry about that with this shadow.
Punch applies opaque with one swipe. It isn't chalky at all, and it's very easy to blend and work with.
I was completely impressed with this shadow and definitely recommend checking this brand out!! I am really hoping to see them in-store soon, as I would love to go try some stuff in person to decide what else I want from the line. For now I will have to rely on other swatches I see to pick out the next shades, because I am definitely in love with their eyeshadows!
