I saved my favorite thing that I got from The Simpsons Collection for last! This is the "That Trillion Dollar Look" quad, and it is pretty glorious.
The packaging is sleek and I love that it's got Marge peeking on the cover.
You get 4 shades of green in this quad, and while I've never been a huge fan of MAC shadows, these are really, really nice and I've recently been convinced that they're nicer than I always thought they were.
Marge's eyes are imprinted on each shadow, so as I've been using it I'm trying to use the section of her hair where there's no imprint so that I don't wipe it away!
From left to right the color names are Lisa's Spikes, Apple Squishee, 2 Dozen and One Greyhounds, and Chalkboard Dreams.
Lisa's Spikes is a lime green with a frost finish. The name doesn't really make sense because Lisa's hair is yellow, but it's a great color nonetheless. Very bright, and it looks amazing when you use it over a lime green liner, like the Jane Water Resistant one in Lime Green.
Apple Squishee is a midtone Kelly green with a frost finish. This one really surprised me as far as pigmentation goes, because I was thinking it was going to be quite sheer!
2 Dozen and One Greyhounds is what sold me on this palette. It's a dirty olive green with a veluxe pearl finish, and is absolutely gorgeous.
Chalkboard Dreams is described as "blackened teak" - I thought it was a typo and they meant teal, but it's typed that way more than one time on the MAC site. Is teak a color? lol! This one is a velvet finish. It comes off as a really dark green color with teal sparkles in it, very pretty.
I love this quad because I can use all 4 colors to get a look out of it. Greens are one of my favorite shadow colors to use, so it was a must for me to get this. I actually was going to pass it up and can't believe it. I ordered the lipglass and the blush and then ended up ordering this quad the next day because I couldn't stop obsessing over it haha! Definitely pick it up if you're a green lover like me, you won't regret it!
