NYX Eyebrow Gel in Espresso

This stuff was so hard to find! Nowhere seemed to have it, and it finally popped up on the NYX website so I decided to order from there, even though I really wanted to test them out in person to pick a color. I went with Espresso, and am pretty happy with this color, although it is a tiny bit darker than what I usually go for.

The product comes in a tub, which isn't the most ideal for application. I recommend squeezing a dab of it out onto a palette or something to work with it from there, or the back of your hand works fine as well.

The first thing you'll notice is that the product is liquidy. I was a little intimidated by that at first, as I'm used to creams and powders for my brows. 

I like to apply this with a small, stiff, angled brush. I will say, it is really hard to get anything other than a very opaque brow with this. It goes on and sets almost instantly, so there's no time to play around with it or blend it. That being said, it doesn't smudge and definitely lasts all day long! I wore it for a good 12 hours yesterday and it looked just as good at the end of the night as it did when I first put it on.

If you aren't sure what color to get, I would definitely wait to check it out in person rather than order it from the website. These are only around $6 though, so it might be one of those products where you want more than 1 shade! It is a very pigmented liquid product, and a little goes a long way. I wouldn't recommend it if you just want it to fill in sparse areas in your brows, because it's far too bold for that, but if you're one that likes bolder brows then this is definitely for you!!
