Becca Beach Tint Shimmer Souffle in Lychee/Opal
Ah, my first Becca product. This is going to send me on a slippery slope, because I am in LOVE!!! I was contemplating this purchase for a while, because I keep seeing them being raved about on YouTube, but to be honest I am not the big a fan of cream blushes. Fellow oily skin types will know that they don't always work the best for us! I can assure you guys that this one blows all other cream blushes out of the water. Let's get into it...
First, the packaging is pretty cool. It has a silver lid and comes in a glass jar.
This is a pretty unique product. It feels whipped yet creamy, and is very soft. I got the color Lychee/Opal, which is a champagne color mixed with a bright pinkish coral.
It's something you don't want to shove your fingers into or you'll make a mess of it, but I like applying it with a stippling brush. You get great color payoff from it, but if you apply it with a stippling brush you can easily build it up without applying too much. The formula is excellent and wears all day for me. It doesn't feel like a cream blush once applied, which is the best part! It has a bit of a staining effect to it, which contributes to it's long lasting ability.
The only downside I see with this product is, if you don't like shimmer you're not going to like it. I tend to like a lot of shimmer on my cheeks in the summer time, and this is just the perfect color for me. Now I'm wondering what I should try next from the Becca line, because this has me really interested in their other products!!
