MAC Kelly Osbourne Lipsticks in Dodgy Girl, Riot House, Kelly Yum Yum & Strip Poker

No comments :
The lipsticks from the MAC Osbourne Collection were a huge hit, selling out quick when they launched June 2nd on the MAC site. They should be hitting Nordstrom and Macy's this week, along with MAC stores and counters on June 12th for sure, so I'm getting these reviews up now in case you guys still haven't decided what you want to get!

The packaging is gorgeous - lavender with Kelly's signature in red. While Sharon's line just had the Patent Polish Pencils which seem less than thrilling, Kelly's line has 4 lipsticks - 3 matte and 1 satin finish. Let's take a look at them!

First up we have Dodgy Girl - this one is what everyone seems most excited about and it was also the one that only took 20 minutes to sell out online.
I was worried I wouldn't wear this when I first saw it online - it looked so much more lavender than it is in person. It's actually a lot more wearable for me than I thought, and I love the color! It's more of a pink-toned violet than the pale lavender that I expected it to be.

This one is extremely opaque - one swipe and you're good. It's not as creamy as the other 3 in this collection, but it doesn't dry out my lips either, which is good. It leaves a bit of a stain as it wears down, which is also nice!

Next up is Riot House:
This one (though it looks bright orange in this picture for some reason!) is very pale and can apply patchy even though the formula is pretty creamy. I'm not the biggest fan of this color alone, but mixed with other colors it is workable. It just makes me look pale and sick on its own.

It is very unique, don't get me wrong, but it just looks odd unless I mix it with a pink or a purple color!

Next is Strip Poker:
This one is kind of reminiscent of MAC's Myth lipstick, but I find this formula to be creamier and not so pale.

This is a pretty unforgiving shade, so if you have dry lips it is going to emphasize that. It also tends to gather in your lip lines, so this is one I will definitely pair with a gloss instead of wearing it on its own.

Last but not least is Kelly Yum Yum:
This is a hot pink, pretty much the same as MAC's Candy Yum Yum, only this has a satin finish whereas Candy Yum Yum is matte.

This one is so incredibly creamy and glides on so smooth, I LOVE it! Hot pinks are always my favorite anyway, but this one is just gorgeous. It lasts on my lips for most of the day, because out of the 4 lipsticks this one definitely has the biggest staining ability. Even once the shine wears off, my lips are still stained the same color. It's awesome!

I hope you guys enjoyed this review - My reviews for the blushes and MSF's will be coming up soon! If you would like to see live swatches of everything, you can check out my video here:
