Lit Cosmetics Glitters in Solar Blast, Hippy Chick, Goober Grape and Boogie Nights

No comments :
In my last post I reviewed the Lit Kit that I received when I order these glitters from the Beautylish site. Today I'll be going over the glitter and why they are pretty much the best glitters ever - believe me, they live up to all the hype (for me, anyway!)

I have been in need of some new glitters for a while. When I was wanting to do a purple glitter look a few weeks ago and realized I had not ONE purple glitter, I decided it was time to finally find out what all the fuss is over Lit glitters. They come in all different cuts/sizes, which is pretty cool. Now, there's not as big of a selection on the Beautylish site as there is on the Lit site, but I found the Lit site was very overwhelming because there's just SO MUCH to look at. I feel like I'll spend way more money if I order from there lol! Plus with Beautylish, you get the Lit Kit when you order 3, so it seemed like a better deal to me. If I decide to branch out and try other shades, I will probably order from the Lit site in the future. Now, on to the sparkle!

The first one I picked out was Solar Blast. This is a fiery orange glitter with iridescent yellow glitter in it that flashes green in certain lighting, and it is so unique to any glitter I've ever owned before! I figured it would be really pretty for bright summer looks.

It is important to say that I swatched all of the glitters using the Lit Clearly Liquid Glitter Base - they look amazing using that stuff!

Next up is Goober Grape. This is an iridescent lilac shade and the name is what got me. I used to be obsessed with Goober peanut butter and jelly when I was little, and my Mom always called me "Goobie Girl." So, this one had to be mine.

Next, we have Hippy Chick. This is a peachy purple that has iridescent yellow, lilac, pink, green, and blue. It's a rainbow of colors and so, so pretty. It is GORGEOUS packed over pink or lavender eyeshadow.

Last but not least, and probably my favorite, we have Boogie Nights. Every time I looked at Lit glitters in the past, this one always called to me. It is a purple glitter with yellow, lilac, pink, green and blue - another rainbow of shades and so pretty!!

These glitters are so densely packed that you get an awesome application, especially when using their glitter base. I am so pleased with how they perform that it definitely doesn't make me mad that these babies are a whopping $13 a piece. For glitter. Yeah. lol

You don't get a whole heck of a lot of product in them - the packaging makes it look like you get more than you really do - but because you need to use so little of it, it'll last a long time.

I hope you guys enjoyed my first taste of Lit glitters! If you'd like to check out my haul video, it is here:
