My Store Has Launched!!
Today I want to share something with you guys that I have been working hard on for a VERY long time now. Some of you who have followed me for a while now may or may not know my number one passion since I was a little kid has always been art. I LOVE to draw. I love to paint mural-type art. I dabbled in airbrushing but that is the hardest thing for me to grasp art-wise lol - it's hard to learn! I've even tried tattooing and though I would love to get more into it, it takes a ton of time and dedication to learn. Maybe someday? But that is going off on a tangent here...the point of this post is that I've been wanting to do some kids
clothes along with t-shirts for adults.
I have been working hard on getting
the designs and everything together. I hate that I have to go through a middle-man
site, that's actually the main reason I put it off for so long. But the cost of buying all the blank clothes and having them
printed myself is crazy, especially when I don't know what sizes will
and won't sell, what designs will and won't sell, etc. So I am doing
this through spreadshirt and hope you guys like the stuff! I am open to
any and all requests and suggestions for designs as well, because I plan
to constantly be adding new things! I named the shop Bubbaloo Designs, because I was trying to come up with something and decided to use my son's nickname - we always call him Bubbaloo. Hence, Bubbaloo Designs lol:
I'm hoping to get this to a successful point where I can use any profit from the spreadshirt store to be able to get tees printed on my own and not have to do this middle man stuff. My big issue with it, for those who don't know how it works, is they set a base price for all the products and you mark them up to make any profit off of them. BUT, I don't want to be selling them at $30 a pop, you know? I'm using it as a learning tool to see what designs people like best, what items are the biggest sellers, etc. Like I said, I will be constantly adding new things and new designs - these were the main batch that I wanted to launch first and I will be adding more soon :) Any suggestions or ideas for things you would like to see on shirts, baby clothes, etc, please feel free to leave a comment here or even e-mail me. It is greatly appreciated!
