I was recently contacted by Sibu Beauty (sibubeauty.com) to do a review for you guys. I am always willing to try new skin care products, and today I have their Sea Buckthorn Balancing Facial Cleanser to share my thoughts on.
This cleanser is for all skin types, is all natural, and is cruelty free.
It has a pump top, which is really convenient. I definitely prefer this type of packaging when it comes to face washes like this.
Sibu products are made from the sea buckthorn berry. It is known as the "beauty berry" across Europe and Asia. They contain powerful antioxidants and essential fatty acids, like the rare Omega 7. For more information on Omega 7, click here! It has so many benefits, such as healthy skin, hair, and nails as well as aiding in digestion and helping to maintain a healthy weight.
The cleanser is a thick gel that has a slight almost-citrus scent to it. It is very pleasant and shouldn't bother anyone who is sensitive to scents.
You use it like any face wash: you lather it up on your face and rinse off - I really enjoy using it with a face brush, it helps lather up the product even more and always manages to make your face feel cleaner!
This doesn't say anything about being an exfoliating cleanser, but it definitely has a tiny grit in it, which makes your skin look polished and smooth. It's so miniscule that you can't even really tell by the picture of it, so it's not in any way abrasive or scratchy on your face. It feels really nice and leaves your skin clean and refreshed.
I have been using this for a few days now and am really pleased! Like I always say, I have oily skin and it's often hard to find things that work great for me. Considering this one isn't specifically for oily skin, I think it is doing an awesome job! This retails for $17.95 and can be purchased on the Sibu Beauty Website.
