I am in love here. Seriously in love. I kicked myself for not getting Perfect Topping the last time in came out, so when I saw that it was going to be repromoted in the Fantasy of Flowers collection, I jumped and bought it the day it came out. I am SO GLAD that I did.
The only skinfinish I had up till now was the Fairly Precious Extra Dimension skinfinish from the Magnetic Nude collection, which is pretty but quite metallic. I've been wanting to experiment with a regular mineralize skinfinish for a while now and finally got my hands on this one. Perfect Topping is a pink champagne with purple veining (which seems like it would be weird but actually gives it a gorgeous iridescent effect!)
I was surprised at how finely milled and smooth this feels. And it seems like the more I use it, the more purple veining shows through. It's like a mystery what will be under the next layer!
I love this as a highlighter. It's becoming my new favorite! It's just so unique to any other ones that I have. I can safely say this is the first one I have ever tried that has an iridescent effect to it!
The pictures don't even do it justice, though I tried to capture it in different lights. It makes you look so glowy and awake, and works with any blush you pair it with. It blends like a dream and like I said, is amazingly finely milled and soft! It almost feels like the Hourglass powders, that's how fine it is. Cindy-Lou MANizer from theBalm has been my go-to highlight for quite a while now, but I think it's safe to say Perfect Topping is quickly taking it's place.
