Influenster J'adore VoxBox!

No comments :
I was excited to find out I qualified for the J'adore VoxBox from Influenster. It arrived on Valentine's Day, so I've had a few days to play around with the stuff. Let's check it out!

To start out, if you don't know what Influenster is, it's a program that is totally FREE that will send you goodies to test out from time to time. The more you interact and review things, the more often you will qualify for their VoxBoxes. When you get VoxBoxes, you will have a list of tasks to complete and brand badges to unlock which sometimes leads to bonus boxes and other goodies. All in all I have a lot of fun using Influenster and definitely recommend it!

The J'adore box was somewhat Valentine's Day themed - recent boxes have been purple and this one was bright pink. Here's what was inside:

Boots Botanics Shine Away Ionic Clay Mask (retails for $9.39)
This stuff is much more liquidy than you would expect a mask to be, and will pour out of the tube fast if you're not careful. I'm not quite sure why they even put it in a tube with such a wide opening, as you don't even need to squeeze for it to come out.
The good thing is this stuff absorbs excess oils as it dries, and cleanses the skin. It says it is for normal skin, but I have oily skin and find it works really well for a fresh, clean feeling face.

Hershey's Kisses 18.5 oz Family Bag (retails for $5.29)
I mean...they're Hershey's Kisses. What else can I say about them other than they are Valentine themed chocolate kisses? Has anyone NEVER had a kiss before? lol

Frizz Ease 3 Day Straight Flat Iron Spray 1oz. (retails for 9.99 for the full size 3.5oz.)
I think this is my favorite out of the box. I spray about 7 sprays of this all over my head as soon as I get out of the shower, then comb it through my hair before drying. I can move right onto flat ironing and it works like a charm. I love it because it doesn't leave my hair feeling oily or greasy, which a lot of my straightening products tend to do.

KISS Looks So Natural Lashes (retails for $3.99)
These are light, wispy looking lashes that look fairly natural. They are supposedly different from lots of other lashes because they have tapered ends instead of just being cut bluntly. I am not a huge false lash person, so I'm not sure how much use I'll get out of them but I will give them a try!

Red Rose Simply Indulgent Tea (retails for $4.49 for a carton of 20 tea bags)
4 tea bags came in the box - 3 Creme Caramel ones and one Lemon Chiffon decaf one. They also included a $2.00 off coupon for any full size box of tea. Not a huge tea drinker, but I've gotta say the Creme Caramel one is pretty tasty! They also come in Cinnamon Streusel and Peach Cobbler flavors.

Vaseline Men Spray Lotion (retails for $7.99)
This is just like the regular Vaseline spray lotion, only it has a light cologne scent that is perfect for men. It is a super thin formula that absorbs right away. My husband Stephen usually hates lotion, the way it feels especially, and didn't mind this one. Yes, I forced him to test it for me *evil laughter!*

So all in all the J'adore box was pretty fun. I think they just included the Kisses because it was Valentine's Day because I mean, come on, how do you actually review chocolates that everyone and their uncle has tried before? lmao! Hope you guys enjoyed and you can also see my video for the box here:
