Real Techniques Expert Face Brush

Continuing to build my Real Techniques brush collection, I picked up the Expert Face Brush last time I was at Kohl's.

This brush is very densely packed and fluffy, and of course quite soft. I've heard others rave about this for applying foundation and at first I wasn't so sure if I'd like it for that, but changed my mind once I got used to using it!

Because it is so densely packed, it picks up a lot of product - you need to be careful when you pick up foundation with it. Other than that, it applies and buffs out any liquid foundation beautifully!

Its shape allows you to get just about everywhere that larger foundation brushes tend to have issues with, like around the nose and under your eyes. I was an avid Beauty Blender user until I started finding foundation brushes that actually worked well for me. The flat ones just seem to streak product around, no matter what brand you use, and those were the ones I always tried to go for because they were labeled as a "foundation brush." At any rate, this one works great for foundation and at around $8 you can't beat the price!
