For a very long time I lusted after the NARS Copacabana Illuminator, and kept telling myself not to spend so much on it. I finally found a close dupe in a NYX Liquid Illuminator called Sunbeam, and was satisfied enough to stop lusting after Copacabana. When I saw the Final Cut collection, forget it - Adelaide was pink and gorgeous and HAD to be mine!!!
This is a lavender-based pink with lots of sparkle. I tried to photograph it in the best way possible to show the sparkles!
It has a squeeze tube, as all their liquid illuminators do. I don't mind this because it's thick enough that a ton won't pour out at once.
This is very much a pink-tinted illuminator, so I prefer using it on my cheeks as a blush, either a lone or as a topper to my pink blush shades.
The glitter in it is very fine, so it's not super crazy if you use a small amount - and a small amount is all you need, believe me! Here are some different shots to try and capture its true beauty:
To put it simply, if you like a little sparkly to your cheek products, this will be right up your alley. If you're a strictly matte-cheek person, skip it. I love this stuff and it lasts all day on my oily skin - another thing I was worried about! Cream blushes are usually a no-go for me, and liquid products are iffy, so I was very happy to report that this one works amazing for me.
I don't know what it is with me and NARS lately, but they have been consistently putting out stuff that I love! The entire Final Cut collection is gorgeous but this product just screamed "buy me." And I'm glad I did! Hope you guys enjoyed this review and remember to follow me on bloglovin' for more!
