MAC No Apologies Cremesheen Glass from the Punk Couture Collection

No comments :
This is the one thing I wanted from the Punk Couture Collection by MAC - the Cremesheen Glass in No Apologies. It looked like a scary black with sparkles in it in every promo picture I saw of it, but after seeing swatches I realized it's more of a transformation color than anything else, one to be used over lipsticks rather than worn alone. Let's take a look...

It's got a deep purple sheer base to it, with pink and purple glitter.

Extreme Close-up!

Here is a swatch of the color by itself:
As you can see, it's a lot less scary than it looks in the tube! By itself it just looks like a clear gloss with some shimmer in it.

That deep purple base gives it just the right amount of color to deepen whatever lipstick you choose to wear it over, depending on how much you use. Here I put it over MAC's Pleasure Bomb from the Rihanna holiday collection, which is a matte pink. It makes it slightly darker and adds just a bit of sparkle:

If you guys are looking to get your hands on stuff from this collection, remember to check Macy's and Nordstrom because the items tend to sell out faster on the MAC site than they do there! I actually got mine on Nordstrom.com on Christmas Day, the day BEFORE they launched on the MAC site. So always watch out for other sites with these collections, you might have better luck :)

I made a video featuring this lipglass here:
