Rimmel Stay Matte Liquid Mousse Foundation

No comments :
Here is my full review on the Rimmel Stay Matte Foundation! I posted my First Impressions video when I first got it, and now that I've had more of a chance to use it and test it out, here is the full review. I'll start by saying that I got this in the mail from Influenster!!

This foundation claims to leave a matte, baby-soft finish while being lightweight and not feeling heavy or greasy. While their BB Cream didn't impress me at all (I hated it to be exact!) this foundation actually lives up to its claims, and works tremendously well for oily skin. Let's take a look:
The box came with a little info card like they usually do, to tell you a little bit about the foundation. I know that this has been out in the UK for a while and is finally making its way here!
They sent me the shade Ivory, which is actually a perfect match for my skin tone. Good job, Influenster!
The claims on the back of the tube.
This just has a squeeze-tube packaging, which would be problematic if it was a thinner formula, but the first thing you notice with this is how thick it is.
It definitely doesn't seem like it would be lightweight because it is so thick - as a matter of fact, I was expecting it to feel heavy and gross on my skin - but it doesn't! It actually feel really nice and gives medium-full coverage on the first try. I like to apply it with a stippling brush because I find that gives the best application (I use the Real Techniques one).

The foundation goes on nicely and dries quickly, but not so fast that you have to rush to work it into your skin. It dries to a powder-like finish - you don't even have to set this stuff with powder! Yes, oily-skinned me is telling you: it's THAT good! To be honest, this stuff stands up to the Kat Von D Lock-It Foundation in terms of lasting power and application. It is a little more visible on the skin than the Kat Von D one, but for something so similar this is a hell of a lot cheaper (or will be a lot cheaper, I'm not sure what the retail for this will be!) So maybe this is something you'd want to try before committing to the $34 for the Kat Von D one - if you love this one, you will love that one as well!
Here's a few pictures of me without and with flash, so you can see how nice it makes my skin look - it completely covered the redness on my cheeks. I can't express how impressed I am with this foundation. I have a dry area in between my eyebrows that their BB Cream kept sticking to, yet this didn't do that at all. And the best part? If you watched my First Impressions video, you'll know it lasted all day and I was still completely matte! That is HUGE!!! It doesn't irritate my skin or cause breakouts or anything, so this is definitely a keeper for me.

In case you missed it, here is my First Impressions video:
