Wet n Wild Beauty Army/Tough Girl Trio in Soldiers in Charms

No comments :
There's a bit of confusion on the name of this collection. From what I've seen, the displays that have the eyeshadows, mascaras, etc just say Beauty Army and the textured nail polishes (which I have yet to see anywhere around here) say Tough Girl on the display. I really want to find the polishes before they're not available anymore, but as for the other stuff...the display I saw was a mix of permanent and limited edition stuff. It seems like the only LE stuff were the shadow trios. So who knows, whatever the true name of the collection is - I picked up one of the eyeshadow trios! This one is in Soldiers in Charms and it is a perfect trio of camoflauge-type greens.
The first is a shimmery pale lime green. The middle shade is a glittery deep blackened green with gold and green glitters. The last shade is a matte olive green.
All three shades are nicely pigmented. Even the matte olive color is nice, and usually Wet n Wild mattes fall short in quality. (I have a review to do of the Pop Art Craze Trios coming up, and had some issues with those mattes).

I love that this includes a shimmer, a glitter, and a matte shade. I always like to mix up shadow textures in my looks, and you can easily use all 3 of these shades to create an eye look - I have been using the first color on my lid, the 3rd color in my crease, and the middle color in the outer corner. Usually I find that you can't easily use all 3 shades in Wet n Wild trios for one look - I tend to mix and match them to create looks, but you can easily do that with this one. It is a perfect camo trio!

I talk about the shadows in this video:
