Markastore.com Review!

No comments :
This is a review I've been waiting a while to do for you guys! I wanted to use the products for a while and see how they worked so that I could do a full review on everything. It's been a few weeks now and after using the stuff constantly I think I have a good feel for it all and can tell you about it!

*Disclaimer: these products were sent to me for review purposes from markastore.com - all opinions are my own.

Markastore is a Romanian skin care store that sells a wide variety of products, from anti-aging creams to anti-cellulite treatments. I chose to review a fe products that I figured my viewers/readers would be interested in!

The first thing is the Gerovital Plant Ultra-Active Regenerating Toner. It claims to boost cells renewal, infuse maximum hydration, strengthen, and regenerate..
This is an almost-lotion like consistency - it is very much liquid, but not completely watery like most toners are. It has no scent whatsoever. This is for sensitive skin, but I didn't realize until I got it that it is also formulated for dry skin. This was an error on my part, as you guys know that I have oily skin (I'm always complaining about it!) I decided to try it anyway and see how it fared against my skin. I only use it at night after I wash my face - I spray some of it onto a cotton ball and swipe it all over my face. It is pretty amazing that no matter how deeply I think I've cleansed my face, the cotton ball still looks dirty! This stuff is really good at getting the dirt and oils out without drying out your skin. And I am happy to say that it hasn't affected my oily-ness one bit. So while it says dry skin on the packaging, I would recommend it for pretty much anyone! You can purchase this product here.

The next thing is the Gerovital Regenerating Hand Cream. This claims to nourish, soften, and seal in moisture. I have had a nasty case of dry skin on my hands lately for some reason, to the point of cracking and just looking ugly, so I figured I would give this stuff a try!
This is a white lotion, not too thick. It says to apply to wet skin so I have been keeping it by the sink and applying it after washing my hands/doing the dishes. It absorbs nicely and doesn't feel greasy (you only need a small amount!) It has a strong perfume scent to it - I can't pinpoint it but it reminds me exactly of something my grandma used when I was younger. It's not a bad scent but it might be too strong for some who don't like scented lotions/hand creams. It has been really helping my dry hands so I will continue to use it! You can purchase this lotion here.

Last but not least is the 3-step anti-cellulite system, Cellulight. It comes with an exfoliating shower cream, an anti-cellulite drainage gel, an and anti-cellulite massage cream.
Nothing on the tubes is in English, so I got most of my info from the website. The exfoliating cream is used twice a week in the shower. It is super thick and has crushed olive stones that helps to polish the skin:
You can't really see them, but you can feel them! The first time I used this, I was amazed at how smooth my legs felt. (I have been concentrating on using these products on my thighs, where I notice the most cellulite. I noticed it a little before I got pregnant, but having Aiden made it even more noticeable with my weight gain!) This has a pleasant, light scent to it. And like I said, makes your skin incredibly smooth! It is very gritty, which is probably why it says to only use twice a week, but believe me your skin feels amazing afterwards.
This is the anti-cellulite drainage gel. It is a pink-tinted gel that has a peppermint/menthol scent. Not the most pleasant, but what can you do. This is meant to be used in the morning and evening. It contains Guarana, Marine Algae, and Black Pepper. Mind you, I didn't know why my skin started burning the first time I used it because it says "piper negru" on it and I didn't put two and two together to realize that means black pepper. Stephen looked at it and was like "there's black pepper in it, that's why it stings." hahaha! So yes, once I rubbed this stuff in it tingled a bit but nothing too much. I let it set for a few minutes and then use the massage cream...
This stuff is also reallllly thick, almost like a body butter. It has the same peppermint/menthol scent as the gel. It also has the same ingredients - Guarana, Marine Algae, and Black Pepper. This is also meant to be used in the morning and evening. Now, after I use this stuff I really feel the burn. And wherever you put it turns bright red, so don't be alarmed like I was the first time haha! I just figured "it must be doing its job!" But after doing more research, I found out most of these anti-cellulite treatments have some form of pepper or capsaicin in them. It doesn't cause pain, it's just uncomfortable for a bit, kind of like the feeling of having a sunburn.
Using these 3 items for 30 days is supposed to reduce 1cm of cellulite in the thighs. Does it work? I will say, my thighs look and feel a heck of a lot smoother than when I first started using it. Like I said, it's been about 2 weeks of using it every day, and the shower scrub twice each week. I think if I keep using the regimen every day and complete the 30 days, the 1cm thing is quite possible. But so far, so good!
Now you get a picture of my thigh for laughs! You can purchase the Cellulight set here.

Hope you guys enjoyed this review and be sure to check out Markastore.com!
