Kat Von D True Romance Eyeshadow Trio in Beyond Redemption

No comments :
When the KVD trios originally came out, the only one I bought was Fever Ray because I didn't have any colors like it, and because Helmut was already in the Starry Eyes palette I had purchased after Christmas. The brown trio looked too similar to another trio in the palette, and I didn't think I would wear the blue because I had shades close to them. Well my Sephora finally got the trios in stock and let me tell you, when I saw Beyond Redemption, I HAD to have it! The packaging is black and the front is clear with a clear rose design on it.

The trios all feature a shimmer, a matte, and a glitter shade. Used together they create and awesome eye look. This one happens to have a pale shimmery blue, a matte cornflower blue, and a dark navy blue with glitter.

As always, the Kat Von D shadows are smooth, pigmented, and easy to work with and blend. These are swatched with no primer or base! I'd also like to mention how smooth and creamy the matte shades in these trios feel. And her new matte Ladybird palette is no exception - I'll be reviewing that on here soon so be on the lookout!!

I'm really excited about this trio because, even though I thought I had shades similar, I really don't. These are all totally different colors than the blues in her Metal Orchestra palette, which is what I initially thought of. I know not a lot of people are fans of blue shadow but I think if you wear it right you can make it work! I'm thinking of doing a video about how to wear blue shadow for anyone who loves the color but thinks it looks too 80s when they wear it on their eyes :)

I talk about the trio in this video:
