Kat Von D x Billie Joe Armstrong Basket Case Anti-Precision Eyeliner

Anyone who knows me or has followed me on social period for any amount of time will know that Green Day is my favorite band of all time, ever. I am also a huge fan of Kat Von D and her makeup line, so for me this Basket Case liner was a match made in heaven.
The box has the same design as the pen itself, which has "Basket Case" printed on it in the Dookie album font. The shade is called "Insomniac Black," which leads me to wonder if we will see more shades in the future? Fingers crossed!

The tube is a twist-up style, my favorite kind because that means you don't have to sharpen it. I find sharpening eye and lip pencils EXTREMELY annoying because they always break on me! Now, this is called "anti-precision" because it's meant to be bold and thick. The crayon is super soft and makes for a great eyeshadow base or smudgey liner. You have enough time to smudge it and work with it when you need to, but once it's set, it does not budge! I've found I need an oil based makeup remover to fully take it off. And it is DARK. Think Kat's Trooper liner, but in soft crayon form. It's awesome.

Because it's so long lasting, I don't have as much of an issue with it disappearing off my waterline like I do with most other liners. I've seriously stopped bothering wearing liner on my waterline for that reason - now maybe I can start again!
It started off with a pointy tip, but of course as I've been using it, the point is becoming a nub and will soon be a big smudge stick type tip. It does have a sharpener on the end that pops off, in case you want to get the point back!
I apologize for my super dry hands, but here are a couple of swatches! That is just one swipe on each of them - just the tip was used on the left, and I used the side of it for the one on the right.

Bottom line is, if you want a big, bold liner that doesn't budge and lasts all day, this one is for you. It works GREAT as an eyeshadow base when you're doing a bold smoky eye!
