Melt Cosmetics Gun Metal Stack

No comments :
Oh, the Melt Gun Metal stack! This is such a nice little collection of shadows, especially for those of us who love glitter shades. I just had to include a picture of the box when I opened it because Melt's packaging is so on point. Glittery box, tucked safely in a cardboard bed to cushion it from any shipping disasters!

As usual, they come in their little magnetized pans with the mirror on the top layer.
The first shade, Harsh Stone White, is a gorgeous champagne with a slight hint of gold and lots of sparkle. I do recommend a stickier primer with the glitter shades to prevent fallout, but it applies smoothly and is so pretty as an all-over lid shade.

Next up is the only matte shade in the stack, Assimilate. If ever there were a perfect matte formula, this is it. It is so incredibly smooth and buttery, while still being super pigmented, and blends like an absolute dream. I wish that all mattes could be formulated like this!
Industrial is a greyish taupe, again very metallic and glittery!

Last but not least we have Gun Metal, a blue-black with silver sparkle.

All of these shades are absolutely gorgeous and pair so well together. Like I mentioned above, I definitely recommend a stickier primer for the glitter shades to avoid fallout, but other than that they work beautifully. That matte shade is out of this world amazing and I really hope they put out more like that one in the future!
