Hourglass Incandescent Strobe Light

No comments :
Hourglass has added new "Strobe Light" powders to their line, and these babies are gorgeous! If you love the Ambient Lighting Powders but wish they had more sparkle, then these will be right up your alley.

There are currently 4 shades to choose from, so I went with Incandescent Strobe Light because Incandescent Light is my favorite out of all the Ambient Lighting Powders. This is the same shade, just amped up with extra sparkle/reflectiveness!
The compact is silver and mirrored - very cool looking, but picks up fingerprints really easily.
It is the same size compact as the Hourglass blushes, but has .16 oz. of product whereas the blushes have .15 oz.
Incandescent is a super pale pink champagne shade.
I love that it's such a gorgeous, glowing highlighter without being overly sparkly. I love me some sparkle every now and then, don't get me wrong, but this is something you can wear every day and not feel like it's over-done.
On the top here is a heavier swatch, and on the bottom I blended it out:
Incandescent Strobe Lighting Powder is on the left, Incandescent Ambient Lighting Powder on the right:
You can see they're the same exact shade, but the Strobe one is kicked up a notch. It definitely reflects the light more, but still gives that gorgeous glow that you get from the Ambient powder. I love the smoothness of Hourglass powders - the ambients, the blush, the bronzer - they all have that super smooth, blendable, luxurious feel that has made me come to love the brand so much. As a matter of fact, there has never been anything from Hourglass that I bought and didn't love!

At $38 these are pricey, but there's no denying that they are worth it. A little goes a long way so you're definitely getting your money's worth here, and I highly recommend checking these out!
